Now having read the five available volumes of this series, I think I would have been better off stopping after the second one. The first two are interesting--exorcisms! bad guys! art that could be followed! But after the first two, suddenly we're in a longer story arc that is deliberately stretched out for dramatic effect, and the action scenes become very difficult to follow. In addition, this series was inexplicably dropped by the author and/or TokyoPop so there's a big cliffhanger and no resolution forthcoming. Only reading the first two volumes gives a good taste of the world and the characters, but doesn't introduce too many of the plot threads that are left hanging.… (meer)

Not a particularly interesting series concerning a handsome young priest/exorcist and some of the mysteries with which he is confronted. Three separate stories comprise the first volume with an extremely attractive woman playing a role in all three-- creating, as she must, an underlying current of sexual tension between her and the priest. The art can be quite good but the layout gets rather confusing at times. Not very helpful when the story is somewhat shrouded in mystery anyway. All told, it's not a series which I'm likely to revisit.… (meer)

This is shojo horror/romance with a good deal of symbolism and various obscure religious themes. All those obscure titles I have here on Medieval and religious symbolism could come quite in handy with this series. And really, this is the first manga I've read with a list of reference books in the back... It is a BIT strange to have the story be about a 17 year old who is a Priest and whose father is also a Priest in the Catholic Church. Hrm, some poetic license by the author but it is said "there was a reason for it." But, beyond some strange little bits like that, it's really pretty enjoyable. The art is nice, but can be confusing at times. I'm not always entirely sure what's going on in each panel so I do the best I can and go along with it. It's a series of stories of the young Priest's exorcisms (because, of course, he's not only a Priest at 17 but also a skilled exorcist...hey it's manga, get over it) and the older chick who keeps turning up. And, ok, I gotta say it, the boy Priest is pretty good looking...I gotta say I really like his outfits. Haven't found any cute animals yet though. Do I like it enough to buy it? Yes, actually I do! I have the next couple volumes on order . Anyway, if you want something a bit different, put your skepticism aside and enjoy the ride!… (meer)
