I came across this book in a shop near Piccadilly Station and read it within 24 hours. Sadly only a few of these wonderful school buildings remain. The neo-Gothic designs of the early years with their red brick look superb in the photos which fill this book. It is alarming to see the rate at which these historic buildings were demolished in the 1960s and 1970s.
