Series 2 improves a bit but is still far too dull at times. And the get T'Pol to get her kit off as often as possible bit gets old really quickly.
At least they realised they were on a highway to nowhere and introduced the Xindi storyline at the end - which makes series 3 considerably better from what I remember.

Rewatch. First seasons of Star Trek are often not the best. Unfortunately the first season of Enterprise is often really boring. Many of the episodes lack any real plot or drama. It passes the time and it has a couple of interesting characters in Trip and the Doctor. But even Scott Bakula struggles to make Jonathan Archer very interesting. And the whole mass strip off for "debugging" is just gross. Very average.

The final season of Deep Space Nine as the war with the Dominion and the Pah Wraiths comes to a conclusion. And it's a fantastic end. There are some amazing episodes and it goes to some very dark places at times. There are some major character surprises too and the end is bittersweet in many ways.
DS9 is one of my top 3 TV series ever.

It just gets better and better.
