Boogie Monster door Josie Bissett
Oh the day I can do an in person program again....I want to use this book. It's all about getting their boogie on....being like clouds, robots, swaying to the beat. It's FUN!
This book literally gets kids moving. It's telling them to get up and shake. As I was reading it, I could picture myself doing all of those things with students. The illustrations are bright and colorful. They are also full of movement making me want to get up even more myself.
A loveable monster has just flown in from Planet Tickle on a mission is to tickle any child who happens to be following along with the Tickle Monster book. Parents read aloud and do the tickling, while children laugh and squirm with delight.
32 months - who hasn't pretended to be a Tickle Monster to their kids?!? Well If not here's an opportunity to get in on the action. I'm not sure how great the pictures or story are but I sure know O had a great time reading it and being tickled like crazy. If you're not tickling a child while reading this book YOUR DOING IT WRONG! PS don't make this the last book before sleep... Super silliness!
A couple weeks later I was in Goodwill and found the book for $2... Well how could I leave it on the shelf?!? I couldn't do now we own it! :D… (meer)
