In its second volume, A Clean Well-Lighted Place remains committed to revealing innovative and inspiring work by new and emerging writers. A reader will find in this collection of poetry and short fiction a medley of voices, styles, and personalities. Contributors range from established English professors to graduate students to freelance writers across 17 states and four countries. The guiding aesthetic is cleanliness; each work displays in its own way precision of thought and meticulous crafting of sound and language.
