I have read so many decluttering books, determined to clean out my house. This book did not disappoint. When I think of clutter, I often think of mostly my family members and not me. This book made me realize that not only did I have clutter in my own life, but that it was more of a "letting go" kind of clutter. I don't want to give away spoilers, but the points mentioned made me think and realize what I need to do to declutter.

I really learned a lot through this book. I am working on clearing out the clutter in my house and mind. I recommend all of my friends (and everyone else) to pick this up. It isn't your ordinary self-help book. A lot of great idea, stories, and insights are to be had from this book. I am still trying to decide what is my song (you have to read the book first and then you will know).

I had read this book a few years back and learned a lot about myself in the process. I recently picked it up again as a source to remove some unnecessary things from my life. I found new insights that I hadn't before. I am not a fan of "self-help" books as most don't seem to really help the reader. They tell them what to do or how they should change themselves. However, this book is different. It focuses you on being a more reflective person, which is the true way to help the self. Gail uses personal anecdotes (her own and some former clients or friends) to really drive the point home. The stories are often emotional. They are very relateable and poignant. I also recommend the audio book that the author herself narrates. It is a book that I'd actually highly recommend to everyone, not just my friends.… (meer)

Picked this up to work on self some.

-- Some of this is reading like common sense. Things that don't fit who you are can go. If you know you aren't going to fix it, chuck it. If you hesitate on keeping it, chuck it.
-- She's doing some name dropping of her favorite sites/sponsors through this book. Keeping that in mind...
-- I like that she included the mental/psychological in addition to the physical, though she details the same thing twice, just words it differently.
