Interesting concept
I liked it overall although I did feel the main romance was a bit too contrived and I wanted a bit more edge to the Lumin

This started out well and held my interest until near the end where it seemed to lose steam and focus. One other thing that bothered me was how frequently one of the characters smirked. This is a turnoff for me.
I was grabbed on page one and stayed hooked all the way to the end. Elira and Crest may be sworn enemies when the book begins, but as you read, you begin to sense that there's more coming for both of them. as the plot unfolds, you also begin to realize that some things both sides in this conflict believe, are skewed, even backward. The longer you read, the more insight you have into just how evil and cruel the people living in the sky really are. I'm extremely eager to see what comes in the next book. This ends with both some satisfaction and plenty of 'what the heck comes next."… (meer)
