The Grey Fox door Phillip Borsos
A wonderful character actor (Richard Farnsworth) in a starring role tailor-made for him. He plays a stagecoach robber recently released from jail who, for lack of stagecoaches, takes up robbing trains--but in a dignified, gentlemanly manner. The scene where he buys a gun from a merchant who mistakes him for a novice is worth the price of admission by itself, but the movie is full of such pleasures--the greatest of which is watching a genuinely wonderful actor effortlessly soaring in a part he was born to play.… (meer)
