4 issues in one volume, 8vo, each with separate title page, pp [237] - 676, [6, index], bound in contemporary polished calf, spine unlettered but richly gilt with raised bands, spine a little rubbed, but an excellent clean tight copy throughout, FIRST EDITION. Unlettered to spine, suggesting the original owner wanted only these four monthly issues. A very interetsing and curious periodical of the period, including many items of nes, both national and international, including much on America and the state of Virginia in particular. On page 306, in the September issue, is Hugh Drisdale's speech as Governenor to the province's first Assembly meeting. This is followed by an account of the trial of the pirates at Newport, Rhode Island, including a full list of the prisoners and their places of birth.
