In my opinion this is a good book. Being a dog owner I could relate to the book. The language used within the book was very descriptive when describing the different types of collies. The illustrations were life like. The pictures seemed to actual photos engaged in the different activities such as running and playing in the water. The illustrations also fit the style of the text. The text was big and bold and got you through the book in a fast pace just as the illustrations were big, bold, and showed the collies moving at a fast pace. The message of this story is to help one decide if owning a collie is the right decision.… (meer)

This book explores many different occupations, but from a different perspective. It shows different jobs and how they differ from the past, have come to change in the present, and some possible changes in the future.

I thought this book was very creative and informational and just plain adorable.

I would definitely use this book as an introductory to our career curriculum. Also, I would have the kids pick a career, have them tell about how it is now and then think tell how they would have it change in the future.… (meer)
