My First Book of Prayers door Unknown
My First Book of Prayers is a sweet collection of peotry. The poems are simple prayers for children. There are prayers for everything a child could need such as mealtime, bedtime and just to say thanks.

I love this book because it helps children learn how to talk to God. This book was given to my oldest daughter by our pastor for her birthday and I have shared it with each of our three children.

This would be a great book to introduce poetry because the poems are short and simple. I would recommend using this book in a young Sunday School class. There are many prayers to choose from so children don't have to say the same one all the time. It helps them talk to God when they don't know what to say.… (meer)
