Marvelyn begins this story as an outgoing, popular high school student who struggles with her grades, catty females, and a mother who exhibits tough love. One day she meets Prince Charming, a man she could easily spend the rest of her life with. Unfortunately she contracts HIV from "Charming" and her life takes a drastic change. Her HIV status is no secret in Nashville which leads to her being stigmatized until she tries to start her life over in another location.

This was a great, great, great book. I recommend this book for everyone because you will want to talk about it. Her story is honest--it is definitely the naked truth. You won't be able to put it down.… (meer)
