Ron Brown has authored more than 20 books on ghost towns, railways and unusual landscape features of not just Ontario but across the country as well. He is a frequent guest on CBC Radio (which coined the phrase: "Nobody knows Ontario like Ron Brown") and other media outlets, and his articles have toon meer appeared in various newspapers and magazines. He is a past chair of the Writers' Union of Canada and a member of the Travel Media Association of Canada. He and his wife, June, reside in East York. toon minder
