A new illustrator to me, I will seek her other works. In this tale, a young boy who visits his grandparents every weekend begins to notice they are growing apart. One weekend, his grandfather packs his suitcase and tells the boy that he won't be living with his grandmother any more.

Now, time is shared between both grandparents and the perceptive boy notices that the grandparents miss each other. Originally citing the many differences, now the grandparents note the things they had in common. The grandson listens to stories of the way in which they would ice skate when they first met. The boy decides to make scarves for each grandparent. Soon, he watches as his grandparents skate together. At the end of the story, the grandparents are re-united and learn the lessons of compromise.… (meer)
