This seasonal book features bright, colorful illustrations and a simple text. Each page has a tab to pull or a flap to lift, revealing some sort of "surprise." Initially, the author concentrates on animals that live in snowy climes such as penguins, polar bears, reindeer, and seals. Eventually, children come into the picture playing on sleds and skis and building igloos and a snowman.
