A restless and discontented rowan tree, who provides shade to a flock of sheep in a field, yearns to be rooted in more exotic lands. He is visited by a well- traveled bird who takes the tree on an imaginary journey to all these exotic places and ultimately teaches the tree that he would be most unhappy and unsuitable anywhere else.
One of my personal childhood favorites!
