Gloria, Millie's cousin, and Gloria's friends are on a cruise on Siren of the Seas where Millie is Assistant Activities Director. Millie notices that there is more security onboard than usual. When the ship is taken captive, Gloria and her friends join forces with Millie to save the captain, the ship's purser and detective. When Emit, Annette's close friend and fellow cook, is taken hostage, she joins forces with the security team. Annette has been holding back concerning her former life before becoming a chef on the cruise ship.

Cruise ship decides to stop at an island where previous cruisers had gone missing. Additional people had been hired to look for the missing family and two detectives. Millie's new roommate, Danielle, is determined to look for the missing vacationers. Millie tries to talk her out of it. Two young boys follow Danielle off the ship. Danielle has no recourse but to allow the young boy to tag along. Evening falls and the 3 have not returned to the ship. A search party is formed to find them. Of course, Millie gets herself involved in rescuing the 3.
Even though it took me awhile for me to read it, I thoroughly enjoyed another book in this series.… (meer)
