It's not a bad little book. The back cover is from another time. The author provides both a Compuserve number (74105, 1632), and a SOURCE ID (STN984), if you needed to send electronic mail. All the pinouts are there, in the book, and it's just as handy as having the specification (and MUCH lighter to carry around).

I wouldn't recommend this to someone just trying to pick up how to write RS-232 I/O (and considering the ratings other LT members have given some of his other books, that might be generally true). For me, it was fine. Then again, I bought it for four pages.… (meer)
