Over the many years I have been weaving I have seen books on fixed-frame crafts come and go. They are all similar in style and content and are of little interest to me. Ms Campbell covers the same ground.
If you have a child with an interest in yarn crafts, then a book like this could help improve visualization and planning. But I would buy a used one from somewhere or get on from a library. I would not buy one of these expensive new editions (any author, any publisher) for any reason.
If the interest is a serious one, then buy a real weaving textbook (Mary Black, for instance) and adapt the techniques to a fixed frame loom, although I was never interested in fixed frames even as a child. I wanted a floor loom since I was in primary school.

I saw this as a new book at my library and borrowed it without looking inside. I certainly did not spend my money on it.
