Nick Cannon

A “Step Up” style of book that was exhilarating and full of culture. Though at parts, the dialect of some of the characters was a little hard to understand and a couple of parts that seemed to read in reverse order, King of the Dancehall presented an emotional ending which made the book hard to put down.

Nick Cannon wrote this poetry book in a very similar fashion as Shel Silverstien. The poems range from moral lessons to silly tales. Each poem accompanies a graffiti style illustration.
