Beautiful and hilarious book about a cow family's celebration and what happens when one of them gets stuck! Great fun to read aloud with a nice rhythm.

What an excellent "extra credit" book to have as I finish up taking a course on Sketching People. There are a lot of good bits in here.

Definitely full of good tips and lots of inspirational photos, just not what I was looking for. She's an accomplished artist and her "sketches" are very realistic looking. I'm looking more for a way to realistically "suggest" a person in a drawing without all the detail. I'll definitely refer back to it as my skills improve.

This cleverly written children's tale is based on 'The Big, Bad Wolf' and the world's perception of him. He goes from place to place trying to show other animals that he really is indeed good. It is a sweet story that could be used as a base for talking about getting to know others before making unkind judgements about them.
