A stunning childrens book, originally published in 1952. It's packed with charcoal drawings and color paintings of stuff like multi-stage and single-stage-to-orbit rockets, wheel space station, armored space suits and a "spider legged" moon lander.
It's technically believable, for the time, and constitutes a great peek into a future that didn't happen but which is still quite fascinating.
