Committee for Truth and Integrity in Public Affair

A collection of essays written by Friends who were asked to describe how their spiritual values worked to influence their reaction to any matter of public concern that interested them personally. When brought together in this anthology, they show a diversity both in content and style, but more interestingly there is revealed a common thread running through them reminding us that ideals require constant scrutiniy and a questioning of the conventions of secrecy and openness. We should—in the words of Damaris Parker-Rhodes- regard truth as a path, not a possession.
