Made it not quite half way, and even that was a struggle. I know I'm the minority, but I just couldn't get into the book. Characters, and there are a LOT of them, were over-the-top to me & to add insult to injury I don't really enjoy magicians/illusionist entertainment.

Cute story with some twists
This was an easy read with interesting characters and a not-quite-predictable ending.
Continuity was good, and the story progressed quickly throughout the pages. You get to know the players before the in-book murder occurs, then work toward the past and future in solving crime.
I wish there was more development in the potential romance arena, but maybe that will happen in future stories. I will give other books by this author a try!… (meer)

Great characters, strong story line, hints of romance, and a fine sense of humor make this a truly good read. Lots of red herrings and some interesting plot twists, too! Enjoyed it immensely.

The beginning was kind of an information dump on every character. I liked that it wasn't overly obvious how the book would end. It was complex but believable.
