Caleb Crowell

In my opinion, I did not like the book “Our Amazing Volcanoes Earth Science Kit” by Caleb Crowell. One aspect I did not like was the writing. There are a lot of words in this book; particular words I think are advanced for the intended audience, such as “Pelėean” or “spectacular”. I also think that since the wording is so extensive that the children would get bored reading it. I also did not like the illustrations in the book. The illustrations were very small on the page and were not in color. The whole book was written in black and white which was boring. I think the book could have been more appealing if there was some color in it. The big idea of this story is teaching kids about volcanoes and the different types of volcanoes that there are.… (meer)
