I liked it. The military action scene at the first sets the scene well for who the characters are. I didn't really have a problem with the woman being a spec ops warrior which I many times do because that has a tendency not to ring true. Don't know why it worked here maybe because it was short and maybe because it was written pretty straight forward without a lot of info dumpy superlatives. Well anyway most of the story was not about that but about a weekend a year later where the two pretend to be engaged at his sisters wedding. The chemistry between the two of them was was believable and pretty hot. There was a bit of fairly well done action and some relationship angst but it all worked out pretty believably in the end. I would be willing to read another in the series.… (meer)

Molly is an archeologist and David is a private security guy. They met a year ago but haven't spoken since. The meet again at a cocktail party where the Russian Minister of Antiquities is murdered (is that even a real job?) Sparks fly instantly again and between dodging Russian thugs trying to shake them down info info things get real hot and heavy. I liked the suspense in the book but the sex thrown in just felt off. There was no build up-they just started going at each other in the middle of all this drama and it was weird. However, the book is fast paced and full of spy drama so if you enjoy that, you will like this book!

Rcvd an ARC at no cost to author (netgalley) This was just a little to much for me, too much action (I know sounds crazy) too much conspiracy, yeah my mind was boggled story was all over the place, This is the third in series, you have to have to read the previous ones or you really wont have a clue what is going on..I personally am getting off of the train.

As much as I love romance books, romantic suspense is not my favorite sub-genre, but when I read the blurb to Risk of Exposure, I knew I had to read it…let me tell you why…

Malone Garrett is a former British SAS operative that is currently in the Ukraine watching the boring routine of his bosses daughter and mastering Candy Crush levels like a boss! But then Mal breaks the first rule of covert surveillance and makes contact with his bosses daughter Abby and after a steamy encounter on a cold rooftop, Mal knows he doesn't want to let her go.

Abby Baston is not what everyone thinks she is! Her cover is a aide worker for a orphanage, but what she is really an undercover operative for the CIA, monitoring the Russian/Ukraine boarder. But Abby gets entangled with Mal and all their truths are revealed, not they just have to try and stop an International Crisis from igniting and stay alive at the same time.

WOW!! What a book! Firstly I love reading books from British authors! Being British myself; reading books that have the correct take on a British humor and words, it just makes everything click! The writing and plot was excellent and smooth and the characters were lovable and relatable (despite the extreme nature of the story). Risk of Exposure was such an enjoyable read and one that I will read again and again!

I give Risk of Exposure 5 stars!
