Geof Darrow

I remember reading Hard Boiled way back and being in awe of the art. I dont think there was much of a story there and Shaolin Cowboy is just like that; Great art and attention to detail but no logical plot.

That was fun. Reminds me of Prophet and Stokoe's art.

Come for the Frank Miller story...and be either disappointed, or not surprised that the once-great Miller sucks here.

Stay for the Geof Darrow art, that elevates a crap story to something actually worth suffering through, just to see one more panel by the great Darrow.

Another compendium of Matrix Comics, collecting previously-published material from whatisthematrix.com and some new content. This is perhaps a little more consistent than the previous collection in terms of writing, theme, and artwork, but is still mostly going to appeal to dedicated Matrix fans. A couple of particularly intriguing stories pick up where the last movie left off, and I was pleased to see more humour and irony than the somewhat po-faced entries that dominated the first volume
