This book is a reprint of 1937 book originally written for agriculture students either in high school or technical school. There are numerous charts and diagrams to accompany the chapters detailing the use of certain John Deere tractors, attachments, engines and farm equipment. Of particular interest is the chapter on the use of manure to fertilize crops. Is this a good idea in our "green" era today, or does it contribute to global warming?
