The book tells the story of Lincoln as a child, growing up poor and processing to be a great man that one day will be president of the United States of America and abolish slavery. The book also includes the death of Lincoln and how people can honor him at the Lincoln memorial.
This book was a very interesting read. It gave a lot of back round on Abraham's life. Some things even I didn't know! It was easy to read, simple sentences and actual pictures of Abe on each page. I think it would be fun to read to students and teach them about one of America's best presidents.
