Volume 1 concerns the life and family of Catharine of Aragon in Spain until 1493.
Volume 2 begins in Spain in 1493 and includes Catharine's journey to England, marriage to Arthur, Prince of Wales, her widowing, her life at the English court before and after her marriage, and ends with the death of Elizabeth of York, Queen of England in 1503. This is prior to Catharine's marriage to King Henry VIII.
