The author's purpose in writing this 1985 textbook was to demonstrate the use of the BASIC language to solve business problems. This book teaches top-down program design and structured programming.

In the appendices, the author provides a summary of the BASIC language, the differences in BASIC between microcomputers and mainframes, time-sharing operations and procedures, the MAT statements, and handling data files on time-sharing systems.

This little book is the instructor's guide for Structured BASIC Programming for Business, 3rd Edition (1985). It contains the following helps: (1) the answers to the questions and problems at the end of each chapter of the textbook; (2) the solutions to the student programming problems in Appendix F of the textbook; (3) examination questions; and (4) the answers to the examination questions.
