Tried to get into this story, but just couldn't. Can not put my finger on why, but it just didn't hold my attention or make me WANT to sit around doing nothing other than reading.

When a big storm approaches rookie Police Constable Sarah Gladstone decides to stay with her mother in case she needs help. Soon the village of Sunbury is cut off and the local priest has gone missing. Soon his body is found and Sarah has to find the murderer without any backup.
I do admit to getting frustrated with Gladstone's character but overall an enjoyable story.

PC Sarah Gladstone is now on the fast track programme to detective. She gets to attend to what is thought to be a routinue suicide in a hotel room. Though not long after another supposed suicide.
I just got too annoyed with the character of Sarah Gladstone to enjoy the story that much.

The situation and protagonist are ok, but the sloppy editing made it difficult to follow the plot.
