I enjoyed this Love-Inspired, Second Chance, Romance. I bought this at a local Goodwill store and I've given it a 4.5* rating. Not real sure the under 18 readers should be reading this one. With a failed romance in their past, Lots of conflict pulling at these characters from the past and present, with the danger coming at them both. Plenty of action to keep pulling you in.

I can't really give it more than an average rating. I always think it's difficult to do both a believable romance and suspense in the page limit of Love Inspired Suspense. This book is an example of that. The suspense/action part of the story is crazy--just when you think they've gotten out of peril, boom! They're back in it.

Jesse and Abigail meet when he hires her to guide him in to the wilderness for "fishing". The whole action part probably takes place in less than a week, so they've only known each other that long and supposedly they already know they're in love. They're still in the infatuation stage of a relationship at that point. And while I don't have a problem with each appreciating the other's skillset, once the adrenaline wears off, how do you know you'd be compatible on an everyday basis?

I also don't buy Jesse's "you should become an agent and we can work together" line--I think most agencies separate relations (especially when it comes to fieldwork).

Started reading and meant to read 25% but couldn’t stop. I had to know what happened next. It was fast paced and exciting but just a little over-the-top and a bit unrealistic at times. Inliked the rapport between Arielle and Neil. It eas interesting to see how the FBI. Co-ordinated with a small town law enforcement department.
*I borrowed this ebook from Prime Reading. All opinions are my own.*

"Taken hostage by bank robbers on Christmas, security expert Laura Devin suspects one of the thieves is not who he appears to be. When the danger heightens after Laura sees the leader's face, undercover agent Hollis Pryce is forced to blow his cover to free her. He'll risk everything to assist her escape from the Montana mountains and the criminal mastermind hunting them."
This is a very suspense-filled book. The author deftly conveys the emotions of the characters and precariousness of their situations. Descriptive landscape and detailed events capture the reader in a whirlwind of excitement and danger. The element of spiritual conflict is so subtle but so important and Ms. Dunn does a great job of proving how important God is in our lives even if we don't see it for what it is.… (meer)
