This book is good for 2-3rd grade students, it is a classic picture book feel with medium sized text. This book shows very interesting cultural illustrations from African folklore. This story is a good representation of the culture and teaches a lot about their tales. It uses animals to show a heartwarming story with lots of culture represented. In a classroom this would be great to broaden the range of culture in the classroom. And also allow students to either learn or relate to the story.

A book aimed at young children but could appeal to any age. When Fox dies the rest of his family are absolutely distraught. How will Mole, Otter and Hare go on without their beloved friend? Many small children will be faced with the death of someone they love and this charming picture story might help them to come to terms with it
