This book is a good example of the erotic bondage genre, involving restraint, humiliation and quite intense erotic discipline. It is mostly M/F in orientation, with significant F/F, and concerns the process of submission of Tessa, the principal female, to the man who is to be her dominant master, Miles, a painter and maker of private ‘home movies’. Tessa’s flatmate Martine also becomes intimately involved with Miles, as part of Tessa’s humiliation, and the book relates in detail the successive stages of her acceptance of her comprehensive role.
