They are most famous for their radio skit, "The President of the Slow Talkers of America", a wonderful exercise in exasperation. But they had a number of other comic triumphs, a good deal less dependent on delivery to grab the laughs. This anthology is an exercise in nostalgia for the early 'Boomers" in the crowd.

B&R's final collection of scripts, this time from their last radio series, heard on NPR stations in the mid 80s. All funny stuff. It's always better to hear them, and most of this is available on CD as "The Best of Bob and Ray."

More scripts from Bob and Ray. If you're a fan, you'll enjoy this book. If you're new to B&R, seek out recordings first, to better appreciate their dry, deadpan delivery style.

Wonderfully eccentric characters from the creative minds of Bob and Ray are showcased here in some of their best routines. If you are not familiar with B&R, it can be difficult to appreciate their humor in written form. You really have to know their style. You'd be better served seeking out recordings.

For me reading these, I can hear their voices, and I know the characters, and I laugh out loud. Wonderful book.
