Donna Erickson

Born in 1949, Donna Erickson earned a Master's degree in education from the University of Minnesota. Her expertise in the field has served her well. She is recognized nationally for her writing focused on creative activities and games for children and families. Her book Prime Time Together with toon meer Kids, published in 1989, won the prestigious Parent's Choice Gold Award. The follow-up book, More Prime Time Activities with Kids published in 1992 won the Midwest Booksellers Silver Angel Award and Award of Merit for best "how-to" book. Erickson has hosted her own show on public television, Donna's Day, and serves as the producer for national Children's Radio Ahhs. She is a syndicated columnist for King Features and her column Prime Time Together with Kids appears weekly in more than fifty newspapers. She is a contributing editor to Parent's Magazine, where she writes her Do It Together page. The mother of three children, Erickson lives and works in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
