This book explains how other people can waste your time with their behaviors. It teaches you how to negate their behaviors, so they do not take away your energy.

I enjoyed this book. I like how he took each energy vampire and explained their behaviors without making a bunch of excuses for them. He took them one at a time. He also explained how to deal with each energy vampire. I can honestly say there are no narcissists in my personal life but there are a lot of the others.

I read this like a textbook. I read a bit of it each day and took notes so I understood what he was saying. I learned a lot about me. I also learned about others (but not as much as I learned about me.) It is written so that anyone can pick this up and learn. It was worth the time I spent reading it. This was superfun. Erikson has a lot of examples, really funny ones and he delivers them perfectly.

I also like the interviews at the end that totally show the different personality types.

What's more: this book is quite actionable. With a lot of other books, you're left wondering "what do I do with this now?". Not so here. You really get a good sense of easy-to-implement steps to improve your everyday interactions with other people. It might not be easy, as often you will have to guesstimate the personality types of other people, but it should work pretty well.… (meer)

Extremely annoying tone of voice drown out any utility the topic might have. This is an author that manages to sound so extremely stupid and idiotic that anything that he offers in terms of content is suspect.
Awful book filled with useless observations demonstrating a lack of professionalism. Like commenting on Bill Clintons personal profile according to his model, and then referring to ‘his problems with his fly’.
The model seems to lack any scientific basis, instead basing its credentials on Hippocrates and the Azteks.… (meer)
