This book shows students all of the items that can be seen in your own backyard, what they are, and how they work. Some examples are birds, water hoses, sprinklers and a lot more. I really liked this book because it takes each individual item that can be found in the yard, and really breaks it down explaining what that item is and how that it works and connects to other items in the yard. I would use this book in the classroom and have students pick out things that they see in their own backyard and what they notice about how they work, or how they think that they work.… (meer)
