Claire Caspian recently lost her husband to cancer. I liked the small town feel of this story and the fact that not everyone has to have big city lights to be content and happy. I also liked the wisdom of Claire's grandmother (Abuelita). Two of her favorite "mantras" were: "In acceptance is peace," and "In trust is joy". She was a godly woman who helped Claire see how trusting in God can truly bring peace and joy to one's life, even in the midst of hard times and sorrow.… (meer)
