This book has simple text about animals of the African savannah (it doesn't specify this, but that's where all the animals in this book are from- interesting that this is the conception that many people have of wild animals). After several pages of simple facts (interesting facts though -I didn't know a couple of them), there is a quiz type page which asks about facts learned, and asks children to examine the pictures to find things and reinforce their reading skills. It ends with a story about a weaverbird who attempts to impress everyone with its nest, and only impresses the zebras.… (meer)
