Ambulance door Michael Bay
2023 movie #178. 2022. After a bank heist goes spectacularly wrong, 2 robbers hijack an ambulance carrying the cop they shot. You know. sometimes you just want a movie featuring an ambulance being chased by the entire LA police force. No thinking involved. This is that movie.
While there are moments of cringe in this, you can see that the cast are having a blast making this and that they're enjoying the experience. Chuck is coming into his own here and while there's a false stop part-way through the story works and the characters are well acted.
I'm really enjoying this series, it's a perfect antidote to the year thus far.

This series I'm really enjoying. Season 1 had some teething problems and this season just sucked me in. Chuck is trying hard to be himself but also having to admit that he has a job that he has to do. Casey and Sarah are beginning to realise that he has skills that are somewhat untapped but convincing him that he is enough is a struggle. Chuck is trying to get himself out of being the Intersect, to get it out of his head and while he does manage this the consequences are interesting and what he does next is even more interesting.
It does come across that the actors are having a blast and really enjoying themselves. Having worked retail I really get what was going on and how realistic that it all is. Exaggerated but realistic.… (meer)
