Ribbits is a series for children ages 4 to 8 years old. Each book is hardcover and contains 24 pages. This series focus’ on teaching kids the differences between right and wrong. Through imaginative and bright colourful illustrations they teach children great lessons in each book. The vocabulary, language, and style are very simple appropriate to the children level, the font size is easily readable.

For example, in the book Tad Meets the Grumbly Grumble bee by John Fornof. After Tad meets the Grumble bee he spends so much time complaining and grumbling because he doesn’t have time for homework or chores. He went to bed late and woke up Grumbly until he meets the little happy stink bug, who taught him thankfulness. It made a big difference in Tad’s life. He started doing his chores, homework and study for the test happily thinking of the things he is lucky to have; friends, lovely parents, and a nice home to live in. So his life becomes more interesting and enjoyable.

I like this book, it includes two lessons. Firstly; how a person can be affected by his friends, for example how grumble bee taught Tad how to be grumpy and then later when the Happy Stink Bug taught Tad to be thankful, he acts better, becomes a better person. Secondly; a person should be happy in what they have in life because there is a person worse off then you. Being a thankful person, makes life easier and more interesting.

It is good to feed young children’s minds with values, lessons and morals through imaginative and innovative products.… (meer)
