This was a good book about the only uncle of Queen Elizabeth II that remained in her royal service during her reign. As it is an official biography, some parts of Prince Henry's life have been glazed over, such as his relationship with Beryl Markham, where it is only casually mentioned that the Prince had dealings with her father.
All in all a good read about one of the more "quiet royals" who did an absolutely terrific job with the task set before him.
