This book does a great job of making informational text appealing. The book explains the country of Ethiopia. The author uses many descriptive words such as plateaus, depression, hot springs, endangered and many more. The author puts all of the descriptive words in bold print and gives a brief descriptive of each. Also, the pictures in the book are interesting. For example, on page 25 there in a picture of a women holding a large drum that is used to celebrate Ramadan, an Islamic holiday. Overall this book is enjoyable and very informative. One could learn many interesting facts about Ethiopia by reading this book.… (meer)
