Mark Gibson

Mark Gibson, Bpharm, Ph.D., CChem, MRSC, MRpharmS, is responsible for product development of New Molecular Entities and New Product Opportunities at AstraZeneca RD Charnwood, Leicestershire, UK. His experience encompasses 25 years in the pharmaceutical industry, both as a bench scientist and a toon meer manager, at Cyanamid (Lederle), Fisons Pharmaceuticals, Astra Pharmaceuticals, and AstraZeneca. He has worked on a wide variety of dosage forms and routes of delivery, including inhalation, oral, nasal, opthalmic, parenteral, and transdermal, some of which have resulted in patents and marketable products. Dr Gibson is a member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society, the Royal Society of Chemistry, the UK Academy of Pharmaceutical Sciences, and the Parenteral Drug Association. toon minder
