Alfred Gingold

This is a pleasant book on a man and his dog, including both humor and insights. Gingold also introduces us to Constance Depler (Coleman), known for her dog murals (one is reproduced in the book.) She also does designs for wallpaper, wrapping paper, drinking glasses, etc.

Alfred Gingold was not a dog person, but his wife talked him into a dog "for their son." I think we all know what that means. In this case, it's a Norfolk Terrier, which made it somewhat more interesting to me since that has been recommended to me as a good breed for my personality.

I don't have any problem with the book, but there are a lot of things in this line. If you read everything similar that you get your hands on, this is a worthy inclusion to your reading. If you are just in the mood for this topic, this is as worth reading as many other books.… (meer)
