Sadly some of the pop-up animals have suffered in this copy. They have been stuck together with sellotape and the camels have been cut off at their feet. The polar bear and lions are good. There is an interesting chapter called 'A gay time in the Ark'. I wasn't aware that the animals played Blind Man's buff [ sic] and Postman's knock. Then there is Mr Woggins's Christmas morning. Mr Woggins is a dog.

The pop-up models are great, especially the peacock and the party. War has decreed a limitation so some old models have been brought up to date.

Includes a story on the Magna Carta and another on an Electrician-in-Chief to the King. Rather strange - the King orders a spanking machine. Apparently it was for his own use. Moving on...the pop ups are fun.

Great coloured stand-up models including In the jungle, An ostrich ride and Dick Turpin's ride but unfortunately Dick has fled the scene.
