Genre: Nonfiction
Reading level: grades 4-5
Summary:
Metamorphosis is explained very well in this book. The book is separated into two large sections, incomplete and complete metamorphosis. Then it presents the information about how the changes happen, then goes into further detail, explaining how some individual insects go through their metamorphosis.
Commentary:

Thoughts and Feelings: The observations that people make about living things are often applied to non-living things that improve our quality of life (e.g. the eardrum and speakers). I wonder how you could transform the concept of metamorphosis into some splendid innovation, or maybe you could use this knowledge to protect ecosystems.… (meer)
