First of all, I think that anything related to the Bridges of Madison County should belong to Robert James Waller. With that said I feel this book is a ripff, copycat, piggyback on his famous work. How could the author believe this book is anything else. Waller himself is a great photographer and could have easily did this book himself which would have been a legitimate tie-in to the novel. The poems are great because they are famous poets. Included are many short poems by Yeats which of course is quoted in the movie and book. Again a rip-off. The photos are bright and colorful containing the obvious bridge photos but also select photos from the book themes. The photos are nice but lack deep artist substence. Any descent amatuer photographer could have produced these photos and copied the poems.… (meer)
